About Habañero
Corporate Giving
Solutions for communities
Habañero isn't limited to providing solutions for businesses. We also support and give back to our community. Corporate and employee giving is an important part of our business and our culture.
Our mandate
Habañero gives one percent of our net income to charitable causes, and also promotes volunteer activities and various clothing and food drives.
Governing principles
- We fund organizations that provide the basics of life and/or that work to improve the quality of life for families, youth, seniors, and members of the native community.
- We fund organizations dedicated to the improvement and promotion of job skills, literacy, and health through their programs and activities. When possible, we also fund organizations that work with animals.
- We do not exclude any organization that has a religious affiliation, as long as the programs and activities run by the organization do not exclude any participant based on religious beliefs.
- We prefer to focus on communities within the Lower Mainland, but also allocate funds to national or international emergency funds.
