In preparation for the biggest launch in Microsoft's history, Microsoft Partners were invited to develop solutions for their clients using the beta version of the to-be-released software. Habanero developed 4 solutions as part of Microsoft's Rapid Deployment Program that showcase almost every new feature of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007. Demonstration of client solutions and scenarios that showcase the capacity of the new Enterprise features to address real-world business pains and opportunities:

  • Managing IT services requests related to onboarding new employees using Forms Server
  • Analyzing and reporting on product quality to improve client satisfaction with Excel Services

About the Speakers

Brian Edwards, in his role as Collaboration Practice Leader, is responsible for providing guidance and support for all Habañero projects with the intended goal of fostering collaboration and increasing information worker productivity. Over the last 10 years, Brian has created and implemented collaboration solutions, including Portals, Content Management solutions, Business Process Automation systems, and solutions built upon the Microsoft Office System. Brian maintains Habañero’s thought leadership within the “information worker” community by regularly writing and presenting on topics related to improving collaboration and information worker productivity.

Misha Jovanovic is a Business Productivity Advisor with Microsoft, with responsibility for Microsoft's customers throughout western Canada. Misha consults with business leaders to identify opportunities to significantly improve team and organizational productivity, through better utilization of tools and solutions that are often already being used in the business. Misha has broad experience in the application of innovative business solutions, with particular focus on solutions that streamline business processes, support team collaboration and enhance corporate performance. He holds B.Sc.EE from University of Belgrade, Serbia and an MBA from University of Western Ontario.
