BC Business Magazine named Habañero Consulting Group one of the “Best Companies to Work for in BC” in its December 2009 issue. Out of 96 shortlisted companies from all industries, 20 companies were chosen. Habañero ranked number seven in the Top Companies With Fewer Than 100 Employees category. Habañero was also ranked number three in the Top 5 Technology Companies list.
Making the list for the second consecutive year, Habañero was selected based on anonymous employee responses to a survey measuring talent systems, employee engagement, leadership dynamics, and organization culture.
New in this year's survey was the question, "If my company were a celebrity, it would be?" One Habañero employee's answer: "Hugh Jackman - he's smart, capable, and equally comfortable with being strong (Wolverine) and sensitive (he also does Broadway musicals - c'mon!). Oh, and hot."
